Program Highlights:
- Modeled after a highly successful program developed at Children’s Medical Hospital in Cincinnati in 1995
- Designed for students with disabilities who wish to develop employability skills before entering the workforce
- Interns work beside professionals in a business setting
- Interns have the opportunity to experience various careers and work environments
- Interns may have up to four rotations in departments including
- Activities
- Beauty Shop
- Central Supply
- Dietary
- Environmental Services
- Hospitality
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Office Assistant
- Therapy
- Job Coaching is available
- RTC Employment Services continues to provide job coaching when the intern enters community employment
Job Possibilities:
- Project SEARCH teaches employability skills to prepare for jobs in the community that match an intern’s interests and skills

Academic Preparation Needed Before Entering the Program
- Must complete all high school requirements
