The Computer Applications class consists of Introduction to Computers and File Management, Personal Information Manager Applications, Word Processing Applications, Desktop Publishing Applications, Presentation Applications and Spreadsheet Applications. (Semester class 1/2 credit)
Introduction to Technology
The Introduction to Technology course is a semester class. Students will be exploring technology in the areas of Programming and Software Development; Network Systems; Information Support and Services; and Interactive Media in the Information Technology lab. The lab consists of 10 hr. and 30 hr. modules in the instructional areas. Students will also do weekly research of current technology events or technology issues. (Semester class 1/2 credit)
Web Page Design I and II
The Web Page course is a semester class. The course is an introductory course on creating Web pages suitable for course work, professional purposes and personal use. Students will learn the fundamentals of HTML, common Web page formats and functions, utilization of World Wide Web resources, to create a Macromedia Dreamweaver Web site, to add new Web pages to a Web site, to customize and manage Web pages and images and to create a stand-alone Web page using a layout table. (Semester classes 1/2 credit each)
