Student Services

There are many important dates that students and parents need to be aware of this school year. Check out our High School Calendar to find the dates of early dismissals, OGT testing and holiday schedules.

Other OHP Student Services:

  • Intervention Services

Two intervention specialists serve OHP students.  They assist in writing student individual education plans (IEP's) and schedule classes for students while enrolled in a career-technical program.  Curriculum and test modifications are also provided as needed.  Prior to enrollment at OHP, career assesment services are available to help determine program choices in which the student will be most successful.
  • Virtual Learning Academy

OHP's VLA provides online classes for students who are credit deficient and/or have scheduling conflicts that prevent them from taking requested classes.  Students may also take online classes for enrichment purposes.  The cost is $135 for one calendar year, which is due at the time of application.  Students may take one course at a time and may take additional courses at no charge upon successful completion of the previous course.
  • Scholarship Information
  • Progress Book for Parents

Parents of OHP students can track their child's academic progress by visiting Progress Book online.  A username and password will be assigned for each parent of an OHP student.
  • Job Placement

Students are assisted in finding jobs in their field by the Placement Office.  OHP's placement rate for 2006 graduates was 92%.  This includes placement in full-time employment, higher education, and the military.  For more information on Job Placement services, contact JoEtta Spain at 937-599-3010, ext. 1384 or jspain@ohp.k12.oh.us
