Ohio Hi-Point Seeks Showcase of Success Nominees
Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and the Alumni and Friends Association is now accepting nominations for qualified individuals to induct into the 2011 Showcase of Success.
The Showcase of Success recognizes a former Ohio Hi-Point student who has reached career success since completing their respected program at Ohio Hi-Point.
Nominations are evaluated based on the following criteria: completed a Hi-Point program at least ten years prior, has overcame obstacles to achieve success, demonstrated social responsibility and has given back to the community.
Nominations will be accepted from the general public and nomination materials can be found on Ohio Hi-Point’s website at ohiohipoint.com. Nominations are due no later than January 2, 2012 at 5 p.m. to allow adequate time for consideration of each nominee.
The last Showcase of Success occured in 2009 with three inductees. The inductees included: Beth Brentlinger, a 1976 graduate of Hi-Point’s Cosmetology program and a Bellefontaine High School alumni; Carol Smtih DelGrosso, a 1978 graduate of Hi-Point’s Drafting program and a Bellefontaine High School alumni; and Aaron Wren, a 1979 graduate of the Plumbing and Pipefitting program and Benjamin Logan High School graduate.
Ohio Hi-Point’s Alumni and Friends Association strives to keep Hi-Point alumni connected to current event at Hi-Point and helping to support future generations pursuing high education. The core mission of the Association is to provide scholarships for graduating students, those in high and adult education.
